Meet Tabatha

Tabatha is a mother of two, a wife and a lawyer.  Her love and appreciation for our Country began when she was 8 years old and learned about our Constitution and our rights as U.S. citizens through the naturalization process.  She comes from a family of entrepreneurs.  Her family owned a Mexican food restaurant in south Phoenix and another one near the State Capitol.  Tabatha’s family instilled in her a strong work ethic and integrity as a path to achieve the American dream.

Tabatha overcame the language barrier as a child and successfully obtained a Bachelor of Science in Business and a Juris Doctor from Arizona State University, as well as, an International MBA from Thunderbird.  She is passionate about education and business but she is more passionate about our community.

Tabatha is a fighter.  As a Supervisor, she will Fight for our Families’ Future because We deserve Better!

Priorities

Safe Neighborhoods

Our communities struggle with issues of safety as inflation increases and our cities continue to grow in density. Tent cities are not a solution to homelessness and drug addiction. Throwing money at these problems to temporarily mask them is also not a solution. We can solve the problems through a public-private partnership. Our cities would partner with reputable private companies who specialize in behavioral and mental health and treat drug addiction and negotiate with owners for the use of facilities that sit idle throughout our cities. The facilities would be used both as treatment centers and as homeless shelters with the goal of helping the homeless find jobs that will lead to permanent housing.

Restoring Voter Confidence

Tabatha participated in the election integrity roving attorney program during the 2022 election and volunteered as an observer of the early ballot counting. She experienced the problems with the 2022 election first-hand. Our County cannot continue to raise doubts about the integrity of our elections. We need to restore voter confidence in our elections by improving our systems, procedures and equipment so that we, as U.S. citizens registered to vote, can securely, confidently, and effectively exercise our right to vote under our Constitution.

Long-Term Sustainable Growth

Growth can be a positive experience when it is carefully, thoughtfully and purposefully planned. Some of our communities are experiencing challenges with the availability of resources such as water as the County population continues to grow and inter-governmental agreements expire. We need a long-term vision and a long-term plan for our cities and unincorporated areas that provide solutions for sustainable growth and careful management of our resources for the well-being of our future generations.
